Bari Jamnik | President & Founder
Bari Jamnik is the President and Founder of Bookkeeping & Back Office Solutions, LLC (BBOS). She obtained her Bachelors of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University, and founded BBOS in 2009. Prior to starting BBOS, Ms. Jamnik was CFO of a mid-sized investment banking firm based in New York City which provided M&A and advisory services to family and owner/entrepreneur-led companies and to multinational corporations throughout the Americas and Europe. In addition, she spent 4 years as an Assistant Controller of a NYC based corporate law firm. Her main focus when starting BBOS was to help a multitude of clients in various industries, from real estate to investment advisory and law firms, manage their finances. Over the years, Ms. Jamnik has worked as an accountant for several small and large private companies including an investment bank, law firm, venture capital firm, and real estate development firm. Ms. Jamnik’s love and passion is to work with the owners of small businesses in order to help them understand and better control their foundation. This will ensure that the businesses experience the growth that they had envisioned.
Daniel Jamnik | Accounting Manager
Dan Jamnik began his career as a junior accountant for a small, NJ based company that imported canned goods. He quickly changed paths and was hired by a local CPA firm in their tax department, which eventually lead to a career in Business Valuations and Litigation Support. Dan worked with clients on forensic matters including marital disputes, shareholder disputes and personal and business analysis of finances in a variety of industries. Dan is a Certified Fraud Examiner who graduated from Stockton University in 2009. In Dan’s free time, he coaches his son’s soccer team and cheers on his daughter during her dance competitions.
Shari Lefkowitz | Accounting Manager
Shari Lefkowitz began her career working in corporate accounting in several large Wall Street investment firms for ten years. She has since worked at smaller CPA/bookkeeping firms providing a variety of tasks including bookkeeping and accounting services for clients in a wide range of industries, corporate and personal tax returns, sales tax and payroll returns and various other accounting tasks. Shari graduated from the State University at Albany with an accounting degree and earned her Masters Degree in Finance from Baruch College.
Roma Mittal | Senior Bookkeeper
Roma Mittal has been a Senior Bookkeeper for BBOS since 2012. She provides comprehensive bookkeeping service to clients in varied industries, reconciling their accounts on a monthly basis, analyzing financial statements, and maintaining up-to-date accounting data for the clients. Prior to joining BBOS, Roma worked as a Credit Manager/Bookkeeper at Achievement Products, Inc. for 16 years. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and a Diploma in Accounting from Morris County College.
Tam Nguyen | Senior Bookkeeper
Tam Nguyen graduate in 2006 with a Master of Science in Accounting from Kean University. She began her accounting career in 2004 working for an Accounting & Tax practice in Elmwood Park, NJ. Tam spent the next 18+ years in the industry and eventually joined BBOS in 2023. Tam is well organized, with excellent accounting and bookkeeping skills, and is a welcome addition to our team.
Jill Lesnik | Bookkeeper
After graduating from The George Washington University with a BA in Communications, Jill Lesnik worked for 20+ years as a TV and Radio Media Buyer for various NYC advertising agencies including global companies/ brands in various industries. In 2011, Jill switched career paths to focus on Human Resources, where she worked for 6+ years onboarding new hires and overseeing all aspects of payroll and benefit administration. Jill began sharpening her bookkeeping skills along with her HR responsibilities in 2011 and then finally landed solely in bookkeeping in 2019. Jill joined the BBOS team in 2022 as a part-time bookkeeper.
Jackie Taveras | Bookkeeper
Jackie’s career in Finance began in 1992, while attending LaGuardia Community College, when she accepted an internship with NatWest Bank in their Foreign Exchange Operations Department. From there, Jackie’s career led to opportunities with large investment firms such as Morgan Stanley, Société General and Lehman Brothers. In 2008, when Lehman Brothers ceases operations, Jackie changed her career path to focused on bookkeeping, specializing in marketing and public relations industries, working with advertising agencies, production companies and non-profits. Jackie has been affiliated with BBOS since 2016.
